Cashew fruit Raita / Geru hannina sasive

Ingredients

Ripe Cashew fruit - 8 to 10 
Coconut - 1/2 medium sized
Green chillies - 2 to 3
Mustard seeds - 1 spoon
Curd / Buttermilk - 1 cup
Salt to taste

For tempering

Oil - 1 spoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 spoon
Urad dal - 1/2 spoon
Red chillies - 1

Method 

Wash and chop the cashew fruits and just discard the top blackish portion. Cook the cashew fruits along with a cup of water for about 5 minutes. Allow it to cool down.

Grate the coconut and grind the same along with green chillies, mustard seeds by adding curd / buttermilk. 

Mix the ground masala onto the cooked cashew fruit. Add salt and mix well.

Heat the oil in small thick bottomed vessel. Add oil. When it gets heated, add urad dal, mustard seeds and red chillies. When mustard seeds start spattering, switch off the flame and add to the Sasive.
