Ingredients
Yam - 1
Chilly powder - 1/4 spoon
Chiroti rava - 3 spoons
Oil - 4 to 5 spoons
Salt to taste
Method
Remove the skin of the yam and cut into moderately thin slices. Steam cook these pieces for about 5 minutes.
Mix salt, chilly powder and rava well.
Heat a thick iron tawa. Apply oil all over. Dip the yam slices in rava mix one by one (both sides should be dipped) and place them on tawa.
Cook each side for about 5 minutes in low flame by applying oil. Yummy podi is ready to serve as a snack or side dish along with meals.
