Jolada mudde / Jowar balls


If you want to use jowar in your diet, but finding it difficult to prepare perfect Roti's, here is an easy recipe for you - Jowar balls / jolada mudde. 

Ingredients

Jowar flour / jolada hittu - 3 cups
Water - 2 and 1/4 cups
Salt to taste

Method

Boil 2 and 1/4 cups of water. Add 3 cups of jowar flour to a vessel. Add salt to taste and mix well. Now add boiling water and knead well.

Make small balls using palm and steam cook the same for about 20 minutes.

You can serve this with chutney of your choice.
