A simple home remedy for Diarrhoea




When we suffer from stomach upset especially loose motion, we end up worrying what to eat. A simple dish of ghee roasted onions along with softly cooked rice can work wonders. It tastes yummy too. I used to enjoy this when my mother used to serve this whenever I suffered from lose motion. 

Ghee reduces gut inflammation and promotes good gut health. It helps in healing and repairing of the stomach lining.

Onions can fight potentially dangerous bacteria, improve gut health, boost immunity, reduce inflammation and enhance digestion. 

Ok..enough of funda. Now let's get on to how to cook. 

Ingredients

Ghee - 3 spoons
Onions - 4 to 5
Salt to taste

Method

Wash and remove the skin of the onions. Chop into fine pieces. 

Heat a thick bottomed kadai. Add ghee. Once ghee is heated, add chopped onions, salt. Cook in medium flame. Keep on stirring it so that it doesn't stick to the kadai. It will take about 5 to 6 minutes to cook. Serve this with freshly cooked soft rice.
