Banana Raita / Bale hannina sasive / Banana sasive / Banana sasime

Ingredients

Elakki Banana - 8 to 10 (Can use other types of banana too)
Coconut - 1/2 medium sized
Green chillies - 2 to 3
Mustard seeds - 1 spoon
Curd / Buttermilk - 1 cup
Salt to taste

For tempering

Oil - 1 spoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 spoon
Urad dal - 1/2 spoon
Red chillies - 1

Method 

Wash and remove the skin of the bananas. Cook the bananas along with a cup of water for about 10 minutes. Allow it to cool down.

Grate the coconut and grind the same along with green chillies, mustard seeds by adding curd / buttermilk. 

Mash the cooked bananas. Mix the ground masala onto the mashed bananas. Add salt and mix well.

Heat the oil in small thick bottomed vessel. Add oil. When it gets heated, add urad dal, mustard seeds and red chillies. When mustard seeds starts spattering, switch off the flame and add to the Sasive.
