Easy Raw Mango Sweet-Chutney



It was the '90s in Mangalore. As a young woman, I savored this sweet chutney whenever my sister, Savithri Bhat, prepared it. Now, I am posting this simple  recipe for you all to try. :)

Ingredients
Mango - 1 medium sized (If the mango is sour, use lesser)
Coriander seeds - 3 spoons
Red chillies - 6 to 7
Cloves - 3
Cinnamon - 1 small piece
Grated coconut - half a cup
Jaggery - 1 medium lemon sized
Oil - 1 spoon
Salt to taste

Method
Roast coriander seeds, red chillies, clove and cinnamon with a spoon of oil. Allow it to cool down.
Remove the skin of the mango and its inner seed, and chop the rest of the portion into small pieces.
Grind all the ingredients into fine chutney consistency.

Your sweet, sour and spicy chutney is ready! You can serve this with Chapati, Roti, rice etc.
