Garlic Raita / Bellulli mosaru bajji / bellulli tambuli / bellulli raita



Many a times, when we are short of time to cook (especially when we reach late from office), but want to eat some delicious food. We will be looking out for quick recipes. Here is one such recipe which goes well with plane rice. Thanks to my late father in law, Shantharam Siddheshwar for teaching me many such recipies.


Ingredients
Curd - 1/2 litre
Garlic cloves - 12-15
Curd Chilli / ಮಜ್ಜಿಗೆ ಮೆಣಸು - 3 to 4
Asafatida (hing) - 1 pin
Oil - 1 spoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 spoon
Salt to taste

Method 
Heat a thick bottomed iron vessel. Add oil, mustard seeds, garlic cloves, curd chilli and Asafatida. If you don't have curd chillies at home, can use green chillies / red chillies. When mustard seeds starts spattering, switch off the flame.
Add this and salt to curd and mix well. This goes well with plane rice for lunch / dinner.
