Pan shot / Velyadele tambuli / Pan tambuli / Pan lassi



Here is an easy to prepare post meal digestion enhancing drink. 

Ingredients

Betel leaves / ವೀಳ್ಯದ ಎಲೆ (Veelyada ele) / pan leaves - 12 to 15
Ghee - 1/2 spoon
Jaggery - 2 big lemon sized
Pepper corns - 3 to 4
Butter milk - 2 cups / Curd - 1 cup
Salt to taste

Method
Wash and stain off the water from betel leaves. Heat a thick bottomed Kadai. Add ghee and betel leaves and roast it for a minute. Allow it to cool.

Grind roasted betel leaves along with jaggery, pepper corns along with little water.  Add butter milk, salt and mix well. Yummy pan shot is ready which you can serve as a digestive drink post meal. 

This can also be consumed along with rice.

Note:- You can replace butter milk with milk. In that case, please don't add salt.
