Snake gourd seeds Tambuli


Recipe courtesy - Shantharam Siddheshwar (my late father-in-law). 

Ingredients
Snake gourd seeds 
Coconut - 1/2 medium sized
Mustard seeds - 1 spoon
Green chilies - 2 to 3
Curd - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste

For tempering (optional)
Oil - 1 spoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 spoon
Red chilies - 1


Method
In a vessel, boil the snake gourd seeds (as shown in the picture below) along with water. Allow it to cool down. 

Grate the coconut and grind along with all other ingredients and empty it into a vessel. Tambuli is ready to serve..

Optionally you can add the tempering with the above mentioned ingredients.

This can be served with rice.
