Ingredients
Bananas - 6
Powdered Jaggery - 5 to 6 spoons
Sesame seeds - 3 spoons
Grated Coconut - 5 to 6 spoons
Salt - 1/6 spoon
Method
Chop the banana into small pieces.
Roast the sesame seeds in low flame till it turns golden brown. Allow it to cool. Grind the same into fine powder. Do not use Nylon sesame seeds; use brown seeds. Sesame seeds are rich in calcium which is good for our bones.
Add jaggery powder, 50 ml water into a vessel and prepare thin jaggery syrup by boiling. It takes about 5 minutes to prepare. Allow it to cool down.
Mix chopped bananas, jaggery syrup, grated coconut, sesame seeds powder and salt. Mix well. Tasty rasayana is ready to serve.
