ಮೊಸರು ಅವಲಕ್ಕಿ / Curd Poha

In summers, soul-soothing recipes make a comeback. Healthy Juices, Tambulis are most sought after recipes to cool down the body and keep it hydrated too.  Here is a easy to cook summer breakfast option - Curd Poha. Please try and share your feedback.

Ingredients
Thick Poha / Flattened rice - 2 Cups
Curd - 2 cups
Pomegranate fruit - 1 medium sized
Onion - 3 medium sized
Coriander leaves - 1 small bunch
Salt to taste

For seasoning
Oil - 2 spoon
Ground nuts - 50 grams
Urad dal - 1 spoon
Mustard seeds - 1 spoon
Green chillies - 3 

Wash and soak thick Poha for about half an hour. Drain the water.

Finely chop onions and coriander leaves. Separate out the pomegranate seeds. Add these ingredients to Poha. Add 2 cups of curd and 1 cup of water, salt. 

Heat the oil in seasoning vessel, add ground nut, urad dal, mustard seeds. When mustard seeds starts spattering, add chopped green chillies and cook for 30 seconds. Add this to the Poha.

Now mix the Poha well. Yummy summer breakfast is ready.
