Ginger & Onion Tambuli



Tambuli or Tambli: Translated in Kannada as "Tampu" means cold and  "Huli" means sour. 
Ingredients of Tambuli:  A small quantity of vegetables grinded along with coconut is mixed with large quantity of butter milk. Sometimes this can also be added up with seasoning for better taste. However seasoning is optional.

Here i am going to share the recipe of Ginger and Onion Tambuli. This Tambuli will help improve the digestion. Suggested to have for dinner especially when we have had heavy lunch.

Ingredients
Onion - 2 medium sized
Ginger - 2 inches
Butter milk - 1 cup / Curd - 1/4 cup
Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste

Method
Remove the skin of the onion and ginger and chop into fine pieces. Grind the same along with coconut and butter milk / curd and salt. Pour the same into a vessel. A simple and tasty Tambuli is ready to be served with rice.

You can additionally add seasoning if you like.
