Raw banana dry roast


An easy to cook, crunchy, tasty snack or side dish for a meal. Its a healthy alternative to deep fried chips too.

Ingredients

Raw bananas - 2
Oil - 3 spoons
Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
Red chilly powder - 1/4 spoon
Salt to taste

Method

Wash and peel the skin of raw bananas. Cut them into round, thin slices. 

Heat a thick and wide bottomed kadai. Add oil, turmeric powder. After 10 seconds, add sliced raw banana and spread it over the kadai. Cook in low flame for about 15 mins. Keep on stirring once in a while so that banana doesn't stick to the kadai and also to ensure it gets cooked on both the sides. Add salt, chilly powder and roast it for another 2 mins. 

Yummy, crunchy raw banana dry roast is ready to serve.
